Quick Start
This guide walks you through creating an account, connecting a data source, and verifying your first activity sync.
1. Create an account
Section titled “1. Create an account”Go to mydatafor.life and sign up with your email address. No credit card required.
2. Connect a data source
Section titled “2. Connect a data source”Open Settings after signing in.
Strava
Section titled “Strava”- Click Connect Strava.
- Authorise FitRepo in the Strava OAuth screen.
- Click Start Backfill to import your existing activities (up to the last 200).
Strava will push new activities to FitRepo automatically via webhook — nothing else to configure.
Wahoo Cloud API
Section titled “Wahoo Cloud API”- Click Connect Wahoo.
- Authorise FitRepo in the Wahoo OAuth screen.
- Click Start Backfill to import existing activities.
New Wahoo activities are pushed automatically via webhook.
3. Verify the sync
Section titled “3. Verify the sync”Once the backfill is running you’ll see activities appear in your dashboard within a few minutes. Each activity card shows:
- Sport type, date, and duration
- Distance, elevation, TSS
- Power metrics (if available): NP, IF, FTP used
4. Set up the MCP server (optional)
Section titled “4. Set up the MCP server (optional)”If you want to query your data with Claude or another AI assistant, follow the MCP Setup guide.
5. Export your data (optional)
Section titled “5. Export your data (optional)”Go to Settings → Export Data to download a full JSON snapshot of all your activities, wellness logs, thresholds, and profile.
